Adding the App

For Android

To install 'Veda Guru' in your android device. Follow these following steps:

• Step 1: Go to Playstore and search for the application 'Veda Guru'
• Step 2: Install the app on your device.
• Step 3: Login to Veda Guru with your given credentials.
• Step 4: Find Online Class feature and conduct online classes.

For iOS

To install 'Veda Guru' in your iOS device. Follow these following steps:

• Step 1: Go to Appstore and search for the application 'Veda Guru'.
• Step 2: Install the app on your device.
• Step 3: Login to Veda Guru with your given credentials.
• Step 4: Find Online Class feature and conduct online classes.

Usage

Veda Guru app uses Zoom as a tool to start an online class feature. In order to conduct the online class for the school to the students, Zoom has been integrated into the Veda Guru app. The user of Veda Guru app log ins to the app and then goes to Online Class feature and then conducts an online class for preferred class, section and subject.

Once you're logged in to the Veda Guru app, you follow the following steps to conduct online classes with Zoom.

Step 1: 'Online Class' feature

Find or search for a feature name ‘Online Class’ in your homepage. This feature will enable you to conduct an online class.

Step 2: Set Zoom as the default online class tool.

At the first launch, the app will ask you to choose and set up your default online class tool. Here, select Zoom as a default tool and press ‘Done’. This will present you with a Zoom login page.

Step 3: Zoom Login

In this login page, enter your email/Username and password associated with your Zoom account. This will log you in and the configuration is completed. Now you can start conducting online class using Zoom.

Step: Conduct Class

In order to start class, select the preferred class, section, and subject. Simply press 'Start Class' button to start the select class.

Wait for students to show up. Once student shows up press 'Admit' button to let them in to the class.

Removing the app

To remove the authorization for an app to access your Zoom account, please follow these steps:

• Step 1: Go to the Zoom Marketplace at https://marketplace.zoom.us/user/installed and log in to your Zoom account.
• Step 2: Tap on the ‘Manage’ button on the top right next to your profile picture.
• Step 3: On the left panel go to ‘Added apps’.
• Step 4: Find the ‘Veda Guru app and click the ‘Remove’ button.
• Step 5: In the confirmation dialog, again click on the ‘Remove’ button.

This will remove the app's authorization to access your Zoom account and any associated data.
